Abuse Abatement Policy
PowerButton.io is committed to a safe, legal, and respectful platform. These policies apply to all rooms, domains, accounts, token usage, and communications.
Platform Rules
Keep it clean, Keep it legal!
Content and behavior on PowerButton.io must comply with applicable law and basic community standards. Illegal content, harassment, spam, and abuse will be enforced.
What Counts as Abuse
Illegal Content
- Copyrighted material without authorization
- Drug trafficking or distribution
- Terrorism, threats, or violent extremism
- Child exploitation material (zero tolerance)
Harmful Behavior
- Malware, phishing, or hacking tools
- DDoS or attack services
- Scams or fraudulent schemes
- Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam)
Harassment & Hate
- Hate speech or slurs
- Targeted harassment or threats
- Doxxing or private information exposure
- Impersonation for harm
Resource Abuse
- Cryptomining or botnet hosting
- Bandwidth or storage saturation attacks
- Proxy or relay abuse
- Unauthorized scanning or enumeration
Monitoring
PowerButton.io uses automated monitoring to scan room directories and content for policy violations. Monitoring runs on a scheduled basis and also responds to user reports.
Monitored content includes HTML, PHP, JS, CSS, TXT, and MD files in user rooms. Logs and metadata (IP, user-agent, timestamps) are retained for enforcement.
Enforcement Workflow
First Offence — Warning
A warning is posted to the offender’s admin page and displayed on the room dashboard.
The user must acknowledge the warning before full access is restored. Tokens may be reduced and plan expiry shortened during review.
Second Offence — Ban
On the second confirmed offence, the following actions occur:
- Full refund of all associated payments
- Permanent ban from PowerButton.io
- Blocking of associated identifiers: email, IP address, username, and pass codes
- Removal or suspension of hosted content
Identifier Blocking
When a user is banned, the following identifiers are stored in the blocked list and prevented from reuse:
- Email address — cannot register new accounts
- IP address — blocked from access
- Username — reserved and cannot be re-registered
- Pass codes — invalidated and cannot be redeemed
User Guidelines
- Keep content legal and respectful.
- Do not upload malware, phishing pages, or exploit tools.
- Do not use rooms for spam, scams, or fraudulent activity.
- Respect intellectual property; do not host infringing content.
- Do not engage in hate speech, threats, or harassment.
- Do not abuse platform resources (mining, botnets, proxies).
- Report suspected abuse to the PowerButton.io team.
Refunds & Appeals
Refunds for banned accounts are issued automatically where applicable. For appeals or corrections, contact support through the admin contact channel. Bans for severe violations (child exploitation, terrorism, active threats) are not appealable.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated as needed. Continued use of PowerButton.io after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Major changes will be announced via the blog and dashboard notices.
